How we came out on top
Now the challenge was on for the replacement home. While competing with other buyers on their forever home and getting out bid, I found them an off- market home in the same neighborhood where they just got out bid on, and successfully got them in a model home without them having to compete with other buyers so they could accomplish their goal of eliminating the need for a mortgage while being in a home, and a neighborhood they could enjoy through their retirement. The result was a “Very Happy” seller/buyer. PS. I also sold a condo that they had recently bought for their son who didn’t want to live in it due to the excessive traffic noise. Again, we aligned the condo with the market, enabling us to get multiple offers, and I was able to successfully bid the final buyer up to a price where my sellers ended up with a profit that they weren’t expecting. Oh yes, a “Very Happy” seller.
